Mohallabiah, an Arabic dessert

A milk and nut-based pudding that’s easy to make, though it takes a while to chill.

  • 200g condensed milk
  • 500ml water
  • 50g ground almonds
  • ¼ tsp ground cardomom
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
Whisk the ingredients together in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to the boil, stirring constantly. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into cups and chill.
